Early Head Start Combination Option

PICA’s Early Head Start Combination Option, beginning in winter 2010, is designed to serve pregnant women, infants, and toddlers under three years old. The program operates six hours per day, two or three days per week, switching mid-year so that children attending two days per week will switch to three days per week and children attending three days per week will switch to two days per week.

In this program, infants and toddlers receive comprehensive center-based services, and families also receive monthly home visits to reinforce classroom learning in the home. No childcare subsidy is required to participate in this program option.
