La Creche

La Crèche Early Childhood Centers, Inc.

This private, non-profit corporation began in 1969. With locations in both north and south Minneapolis, two community-based centers offer parents the opportunity to work, finish school or receive job training and further education secure in the knowledge that their child(ren) ages six weeks to six years are well cared for.

In order to provide an atmosphere for educational growth, the curriculum emphasizes positive self-identity, cognitive skills, language arts, small and gross motor skills activities. The facilities are clean, bright, cheerful, safe, and fully equipped to stimulate each child’s creativity. La Crèche stresses the total enrichment and depth of experiences of each child. Children are encouraged to develop a sense of “self,” to ask questions, to observe, and to search for answers.
