Health Services
Minnesota Visiting Nurses Association (MVNA)
MVNA provides public health nurses who are responsible for ensuring follow-up services to PICA families. If there is any abnormal health problem, the nurses provide health information to the Center Director and center teams. The nurses do home visits with a center team member and provide training and technical assistance to staff and parents about health issues. MVNA services are available on-site at all of PICAs facilities.
The City of Bloomington Division of Public Health provides vision and hearing screenings, height and weight screenings, immunization review, and assistance with follow-up for children attending our South Branch location.
