PICA was recently awarded Expansion funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) to expand its Head Start program by 90 children and its Early Head Start program by 128, including 16 pregnant women. This funding will allow some of the over 1,000 children and families on our waiting list to benefit from PICA’s services, including homeless children in PICA’s Project Secure program.
