Why Work For PICA?

For more than 50 years, PICA has proudly served low-income children and families in Hennepin County. We provide a variety of services ranging from education, nutrition, transportation and workforce development.

At PICA Head Start, we have a small window to make a big impact. What we do now can change lives. PICA is a comprehensive support system for the whole family, and parent involvement is the cornerstone of our programs. Of our 430 staff members, more than half are current or former Head Start parents.

PICA is also the number one trainer of teachers of color in the state of Minnesota, providing financial support for teachers to achieve an associate's or bachelor’s degree, attend professional conferences and ongoing professional development opportunities.

At PICA, we are always looking for caring and nurturing individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of children ages 0-5 and their families.
